Free 2 Be Books wants all kids to be free – Free to be a kid! We know that the job of kids is simple. It’s to learn, grow, play, imagine, create, risk, explore, trip, fall, and get back up again! Far too often, the burdens of life set in too early and this vital process gets crowded out! The Incredible Shrinking Girl is our first installment in this vision to help kids be free to set down big burdens and get back to being a kid. Penny can’t figure out why she is getting smaller and smaller. Her roller skates are too big. Her clothes no longer fit. And, she can no longer reach the kitchen sink or her desk at school! But, when a kind teacher notices something is wrong and shares her own experience of getting smaller, Penny discovers she is not alone, and that her parents’ divorce need not be her story.
